The VENT NOUVEAU series of fine papers produced under the supervision of designer and architect Kijuro Yahagi (1952-) and launched in 1994 is a series of high grade printing paper designed to achieve high levels of both printability and texture, characteristics that tend to be mutually exclusive.

VENT NOUVEAU has a magnificent texture and incorporates a large amount of air, making the paper both light and bulky. It is useful for printing books that are thick but light. Overprinting can bring out gloss in a rich range of subtle nuances, enabling a richly expressive printed product.
