Printing paper needs to have good printability, but the texture of the paper can be a large part of its attractiveness.

The VENT NOUVEAU series of fine papers produced under the supervision of designer and architect Kijuro Yahagi (1952-) and launched in 1994 is a series of high grade printing paper designed to achieve high levels of both printability and texture, characteristics that tend to be mutually exclusive.

VENT NOUVEAU has a magnificent texture and incorporates a large amount of air, making the paper both light and bulky. It is useful for printing books that are thick but light.

Overprinting can bring out gloss in a rich range of subtle nuances, enabling a richly expressive printed product.

Our opening of the paper outlet in Cziplee is something very significant, not only to Fine Paper Takeo (M) Sdn Bhd but also to the fine paper industry in Malaysia. The selling of fine paper is fast transforming into a new landscape of sales. It has become an art. Consumer expectation and demand is getting higher and higher. Their knowledge is improving due to digital age. They require actual or bigger size samples. Sales people need to have an in-depth knowledge of their paper and understand the consumer instead of just price comparison.

With such new requirement, it is only logical for us to listen to the consumer and provide them a solution.

Fine Paper Takeo Malaysia’s annual Greeting Pack is its signature gift purposed to showcase the potential of paper in creative arts. To welcome 2017’s Rooster year, the collaboration with SIXdays yielded a bento box pack themed “Food for the Soul”. It tells the age old story of Chicken or Egg? through its diverse types of paper. The pattern on the packaging was inspired by the chicken’s bamboo cage as the calendar highlights positive characters of a rooster to inspire us to be bold and act for our dreams! Die-cutting best illustrates the transformation of the egg to its majestic rooster form, and vice versa, complemented with a shade of classy rose gold.

The series is characterized by a special embossing technology that imparts a unique see-through look and leverage this feature to broaden the expressive horizons of paper as a material.
